You've pushed me on an edge of a cliff,
and of course you're only standing there,
doing nothing to either push me down
or help me crawl away from it.
Like the ocean, you too, change,
from the
deepest blue, to the color of your eyes,
and
finally to the beautiful turquoise and the shades of white;
to normally functioning in a second.
to carelessness in a blink of an eye.
seems to change within an Earth's rotation.
And
I envy you so much.
Because
when the dark waters grasp for me,
I'm caught in the high tide of your spit for hours.
lying awake until whenever is the only option.
I'm out of my balance until long after.
following the laws of the sea that is you,
painfully tormented by your vortex.
and you are, in fact, reaching out your hand while
stepping closer,
yet I still don't know and can just wonder,
if you will push or pull.
